This is not a nutrition information post, however the content does relate to health both physically and emotionally.

Today I learned about emotional intelligence i.e. EQ. The Oxford dictionary of Psychology defines EQ as "the ability to monitor one's own and other people's emotions, to discriminate between different emotions and label them appropriately, and to use emotional information to guide thinking and behavior".

Apparently the higher your EQ the bigger your prediction of succes than your IQ. One of the reasons for this is because people with a higher EQ are more optimistic, hopeful and are assertive.

So what do you do if your IQ is shining but not your EQ?
Well, luckily EQ s changeable whereas IQ is not.
It takes a whole lot of introspection, research and practice to boost your EQ but it is possible- yay!!
